Supported by Zubaan
In collaboration with Heinrich Böll Stiftung, New Delhi, India
APPLICATION DEADLINE: 7 June, 2026
Are you ready for 5 days of conversations, creativity, community, and collective learning?
GreeNE Feminist Labs in collaboration with the Heinrich Böll Stiftung, New Delhi, India 2026 is back!
Join Zubaan for an immersive workshop bringing together young activists, artists, researchers, writers, storytellers, and youth leaders from across the Northeast and eastern Himalayan region to explore the intersections of gender, ecology, climate change, and development.
Through feminist storytelling, art, discussions, community knowledge, and conversations with grassroots practitioners, organisers, and ecological thinkers, we’ll reflect on the ways climate change and environmental injustice shape our everyday lives — and how communities continue to build resilience, care, resistance, and hope.
From floods and landslides to extractive projects and rapid urbanisation, the region is witnessing massive ecological change. But it is also home to powerful traditions of collective care, indigenous knowledge, creativity, and community-led resistance.
Expect conversations on: gender and climate change, ecology & development, indigenous knowledge systems, community resilience & care, art, storytelling & feminist futures.
Last year’s Lab brought together an incredible group of young people across the region and sparked conversations, collaborations, friendships, and solidarities that continue beyond the workshop space.
And this year? We’re building that space all over again. If you care about ecology, justice, communities, creativity, and imagining sustainable futures together — this Lab is for you.
